Kick SwitchThe kick switch is located on the left side of the Great expression shoe. You can assign a function to the kick switch. To engage the kick switch, as your foot is on the expression shoe, slide your foot to the left. The function of the kick switch is set in the
Expression Pedal menu. Options are:
- NEXT - Each time you press the kick switch, the general piston will advance to the next higher number.
- PREV - Each time you press the kick switch, the general piston will decrease to the next lower number.
- SUSTAIN - Sustain will be applied while you are pressing the switch. Sustain can be applied only to the orchestral voices and to the patches in an external MIDI sound module. Sustain will not be applied to organ stops.
- GOSP ROTOR - When you play the “Gospel Organ I” or “Gospel Organ II” voice, each time you press the kick
switch, a rotary effect will switch on or off. This function only applies to “Gospel Organ I” or “Gospel Organ II.”
F# PedalThe sustain function for the F# pedal can be turned
ON or
OFF. This setting is in the
Console menu. When the sustain function is
ON, pedal F2 functions as a damper to rest your heel as you press F#2 sustain, and pedal notes F2 through G3 are muted when an orchestral voice is being used.
Special Harp FunctionsThe Harp voice has additional functional options for the kick switch and/or F# pedal. The preferred function is selected in the
Console menu.
- None - The kick switch and F# pedal have no effect
- Sustain - The kick switch and F# pedal (when activated) have a sustain effect
- Damper - The kick switch and F# pedal (when activated) have a damper effect
