Modern Organ Design Associates
MODA is a collaboration between Church Keyboard and A.E. Schlueter Pipe Organ Co. to provide new pipe organs and major organ rebuilding projects for churches in the Southwestern U.S.
We focus on designing custom pipe organs, large and small, that meet the specific needs, desires, environment, and musical and liturgical requirements of our customers.
The resulting pipe organ will have a lifespan beyond our own. This guides our emphasis on quality and long-term durability of components and methods. To provide the highest quality, all of the major components and assemblies used building your organ and console are built in the Schlueter facility near Atlanta, GA.
State-of-the-art technology enables an efficient design and production process, from computer assisted design (CAD) to computer numeric controlled (CNC) production machines. This technology allows the visualization of the instrument and its components prior to building, with accuracy measured in thousandths of an inch. The ability to maintain these tolerances is unparalleled in organ building history. Slider, electro-pneumatic, and electro-mechanical chest actions are possible.
Instruments are designed to allow ease of service, maintenance and tuning. On-going tuning and maintenance is provided by Church Keyboard.
